Keys or other items taken from a person's hand

An agent must not use force against a person. Record who took the item, what was said, any force, the purpose and what happened next.

Preserve video, photographs, medical evidence, witnesses and the enforcement documents. Ask the company and creditor to preserve body-worn video and incident records.

Use 999 for immediate danger or violence; otherwise report a genuinely suspected offence through 101 or online. A breach does not automatically prove an offence, invalidate every step or guarantee damages.
