Complaining about fitness to hold an enforcement-agent certificate
An EAC2 complaint is a serious court procedure about a certificated agent's fitness to hold a certificate. It is not the correct route for every debt, fee or company complaint.
CPR 84.20 governs the procedure. Identify the precise conduct, distinguish evidence from allegation and attach the important documents in date order. Check the current HMCTS form and filing arrangements.
The agent must have a fair opportunity to respond. Compensation, costs, attendance and cancellation of a certificate are not automatic; fee assessment and third-party claims use different procedures.
