Consumer-credit judgments and High Court enforcement
Whether a regulated consumer-credit judgment may be enforced in the High Court depends on the agreement, judgment and statutory restrictions.
Obtain the agreement, claim, judgment, certificate, writ and transfer documents. Apply section 141 of the Consumer Credit Act and transfer rules to the evidence.
A challenge does not itself stay enforcement. The consequences for fees, goods and costs depend on the order; cancellation and repayment are not automatic.
