Challenging High Court enforcement fees

Request the writ, statement, compliance and attendance records, stage, payments, disbursements and sale evidence.

For instructions received from 1 May 2026, the fixed High Court fees are £79, £200, £520 and £550, with 7.5% above £1,200 where applicable. Transitional rules may preserve the earlier scale.

CPR 84.16 may provide assessment. A challenge to the judgment, writ, goods or conduct is different, and an application does not automatically stay enforcement.
