Notify the company, creditor and finance or leasing provider immediately. Supply the agreement, settlement statement, payment records, V5C, insurance and photographs.

Schedule 12 generally permits control only of goods belonging to the debtor, but finance cases can raise difficult questions about legal and beneficial interests and who may bring a claim.

A third party may need CPR Part 85. An interim injunction is exceptional, requires a proper legal basis and can carry an undertaking in damages and costs risk.
