What to do if an enforcement agent clamps your vehicle
Do not cut, remove, defeat or tamper with the clamp. Interference with controlled goods or obstruction may be a criminal offence.
Photograph the vehicle, number plate, clamp, notice, location and existing damage. Keep purchase and payment records, the V5C, finance agreement, insurance and evidence of work or disability use.
Notify the creditor and company of third-party ownership, finance, exemption or notice issues. The correct challenge depends on the evidence and enforcement power; release, damages and costs are not automatic.
